Hope in Alliance (HIA) a grassroots organization dedicated to defending human rights and upholding the principles of justice and freedom. HIA has played an active role in organizing protests against the rising tide of fascism and the erosion of fundamental liberties in America. Working alongside other local organizations in Jefferson County, WV, and beyond, we strive to build a united front for change.
Guided by the values of equity, equality, human rights, and democracy, our mission is to serve the working-class people of Jefferson and Berkeley County, West Virginia—particularly those most impacted by the rapid shifts in government policy.
"Hope is not a fleeting whisper but a steady flame, burning bright through even the darkest nights. It weaves itself into every new day, reminding us that no struggle lasts forever and that joy has a way of finding its way back. No matter how heavy the storm, hope stands firm, unshaken, promising that brighter days are not just possible—they are inevitable. Hope is alive, thriving, and here to stay." - Jocelyn Hill, Hope in Alliance Founder
