Each member of our community brings unique talents and perspectives, and every voice plays a crucial role in our movement. By standing together, we ensure that everyone is heard and uplifted. Join us, share your strengths, and help us build a future where hope and justice thrive for all.
Hope in Alliance (HIA) a grassroots organization dedicated to defending human rights and upholding the principles of justice and freedom. HIA has played an active role in organizing protests against the rising tide of fascism and the erosion of fundamental liberties in America. Working alongside other local organizations in Jefferson County, WV, and beyond, we strive to build a united front for change.
Guided by the values of equity, equality, human rights, and democracy, our mission is to serve the working-class people of Jefferson and Berkeley County, West Virginia—particularly those most impacted by the rapid shifts in government policy.
"Hope is not a fleeting whisper but a steady flame, burning bright through even the darkest nights. It weaves itself into every new day, reminding us that no struggle lasts forever and that joy has a way of finding its way back. No matter how heavy the storm, hope stands firm, unshaken, promising that brighter days are not just possible—they are inevitable. Hope is alive, thriving, and here to stay." - Jocelyn Hill, Hope in Alliance Founder
Our mission is to provide meaningful, tangible support to those impacted by injustice. We stand with individuals facing wrongful termination and discrimination, offering assistance where we can, and essential resources such as food and clothing. HIA is dedicated to organizing protests in solidarity with our community and aims to establish food drives to support those in need.
Rooted in a deep commitment to inclusivity, we remain unaffiliated with any political party and welcome all—regardless of sex, gender, religion, race, creed, or past political beliefs. We also extend a hand to former MAGA members who have come to recognize the harm of extremist ideology and seek a path toward unity and justice.
Together, we stand as advocates for human rights, determined to build a future defined by fairness, compassion, and dignity for all.
